Ranum Club

SCAM!! Slyways.. bodoh.

Current Mood: Oi!

Dear friends,

I have just been cheated by a company named “SLYWAYS SOLUTIONS” or “SLYWAYS VACATIONS” and I hope you guys won’t fall into the same trap.

Please if any of their agents come by and drag you guys into hearing their bullshits, please just ignore them because they’re scamming your money. They will tell you that they’re affiliated with the Ministry of Tourism and that they can get cheap hotel rates and transportation tickets. They’ll ask you to apply for a membership of their vacation club for one time lifetime fees of RM399.

What you will get from the membership is that you’ll be entitled to a 75% discount on MOST of the hotels in Malaysia (no matter what season). You can use the card for as long as you live, and the card is transferable. Meaning that if your friend wants to go on a holiday and wants to get discounts via the membership, they can do so just by mentioning the ID of the card you’re holding and mentioning the name of the card holder. They also have special promotions for students. You are entitled to have two person as the cardholder, meaning that each of you just need to pay half of the membership fees.

It’s actually too good to be true. I know because my dad used to have the Berjaya Vacations Tours membership (which entitles you to apply for a free accommodation for their hotels nationwide and some hotels overseas) but their terms and conditions in getting the free room is quite tedious. (but at least, logical enough) You have to book about three months earlier and on a non-peak season. And some other regulations which I don’t quite get hold from my parents. Anyways my parents has terminated the membership because they charge their membership fees annually and it’s been so long since my parents has use it. Slyways however provides with a hassle free solutions for you to have vacations. It sounds too good to be true but they way they’re convincing you somehow seems logical.

I don’t know how stupid I was.

Here’s some links to a few blogsposts. It’ll give you a better information on what I’m saying.

Actually, we’re (my friend and I) considered quite lucky because right after our registration with the company, a girl with her friend come up and approached us once we’re quite far away from the registration counter. They say that they’ve been cheated by the company. They’ve applied for the membership back in July 2007. You won’t be able to get to call their customer services directly but you have to try and call so many times before being connected. Upon requesting for reservations with their customer services, they will come up with so many excuses and tries to hung up the phone from your call. And if you try to call their leader (encik idrus), he’ll just rudely avoid you and come up with so much bullshit you’ll feel like kicking him right on the butt. It’s a good thing the girl told me about their scam earlier before I had made any payment for vacations (if I’ve got through).

orang melayu pun tak malu dah makan duit haram terang-terangan sekarang. Suprisingly, their modus operandi is located OPENLY at shopping complexes and public spaces. I got cheated at Plaza Alam Sentral (shah alam). They even have another booth at Kompleks PKNS, Shah Alam. They have MANY other company names… Slyways, Bestworld, Dynasty Vision, and the one I enrolled was named RANUM CLUB. Just make sure that if the thing is seriously too good to be true, just trust your instinct and ignore whatever bullshit their saying.

So please friends.

Beware.

regards,

ayez
